Having to use these during a very heavy flow one month while at Uni, I thought that it was going to be utter torture for me to wear these. But, to my surprise, they were actually very comfortable to wear. I consider Tena pads to be a little overpriced for general use but if you can afford them, I would definitely recommend using them.
As a maxi pad, they are designed to deal with a heavy load of liquid and they definitely do just that. I was used to having to change my pad every 2 hours but which the Tena Maxi, I could last through 4-6 hours at least during any given day. They were also very good at absorbing the smell of the flow, which is something that I've always been very self-conscious about. I didn't even notice the smell throughout my use of it.
The only problem that I had with them it that they were very bulky and where I'm used to wearing very tight clothing, like leggings and skinny jeans, it made it very difficult to pick out of my wardrobe while I was wearing it. The pad could be seen through my normal jeans and I found myself changing to skirts and long tops to cover up the bulge of the pad under my clothes.
Overall, though, these pads are a must-buy for ladies with heavy flows, leaking and odor problems.
TENA Comfort Maxi is a flexible and comfortable shaped pad for people who require a high absorbency product and wish to continue using pads. The TENA Comfort pad is a 2-piece product which should be held in place with TENA Fix stretch pants.
