Advantages: Price

Disadvantages: No Super Extra Plus, Super Plus only in 12 Pack

Great on Price, very similar to other own brands in packaging, the outer box is pretty plain with the picture of a tulip on the front and a band of colour to denote absorbency.
Purple = Mini (only available in Multi pack)
Yellow = Regular
Green = Super
Orange = Super Plus

But it's whats inside that counts and getting inside is easy just peal off sticky tape and your are in, the box can be resealed so no problems there.
The tampons themselves are in paper wrappers that have coloured writing on that match the absorbency rating and are easily opened, the tampon is made from either cotton, rayon or a mixture of cotton/rayon absorbent fibres, the cardboard applicator has a rounded tip to ease insertion which it does and could be flushed if needs must.

Also inside the box you will find a guide to "Tesco Applicator Tampons".
This has a lagre section on the risk of Toxic Shock Syndrome or TSS for short.

And the normal how to use guide, the most important things to do when inserting a tampon (after you've washed your hands) is to find a comfortable position and to RELAX.
The positions listed in the guide are "stand or squat slightly with you legs apart, or stand with one foot on a chair or the toilet seat".
This is how I do it.

Personally I find sitting on the toilet with my legs apart or standing with one leg on the toilet seat most comfortable and therefore relaxing but what I find comfortable you may not so each to thier own.
once I've removed the wrapper I always check that the removal cord is hanging out of the end of the applicator then I hold the applicator at the grooved end with my thumb and middle finger and place my index finger on the plunger end (the end without the rounded tip) .
I use my other hand to gently fold back the skin covers the opening to my vagina.
I place the rounded tip of the tampon to my vaginal opening, point the tip towards my lower back ( not straight up).
RELAX and insert the tampon until my fingers holding the tampon touch my body I now push the plunger tube inside the bigger tube with my index finger once the plunger tube is inside the bigger tube I carefully remove both tubes the removal cord will now be visible coming out of my vagina.
Tampons should be changed every 4-6 hours depending how heavy your flow is, if like me you are "blessed" with very flow this will be the sooner of the 2 times.

To remove a tampon I find the best way is to sit on the toilet RELAX and gently pull the removal cord, once out I place it a nappy sack and then in a bin.
Then I wash my hands and repeat the whole process again (6 days of hell).

Tesco apllicator tampons do the job well however as far as I'm aware Super Plus are only available in 12 packs and not in 30 packs , Pack of 12 for 58p that's 4.8p a tampon that's over 6p cheaper than the main brands so that's a bargain in my book.

Summary: Good Quality Cheap Applicator Tampons
