Often I buy treats for my five hamsters. They are pretty spoilt I have to admit and always have plenty of everything lol. I usually buy Rotastak treats for my lot when I spot them in pet shops and supermarkets though recently I had noticed that my local Wilkinsons stores had a small range of animal products too and I decided to give them a try out as for a bag of these chocolate drops only cost 49p a bag!

The Packaging:

The packet of these is white and brown in colour with a photograph of a long haired Syrian hamster on the front of it and we are told that they are Wilko Choc Drops For Small Animals, 'A girl's best friend' and that they are 'Delicious, choc treats' and that they contain added minerals and are 50g in weight. On the back of the packet other information listed includes being told a bit about the treats along with advice on how many to give a pet, ingredients and nutritional information is given and contact details for Wilko are listed. Nice enough, hanging little bag this is with plenty of the chocolate drops inside of it and of course it is informative enough.

The Chocolate Drops:

Small and round and rather thin these basically look and smell like human chocolate! Smooth and milky looking these are suitable for hamsters, gerbils, guinea pigs, rats, mice and rabbits and we are told to give no more than 5 of these treats a day to our pets.

They don't melt in my hands when giving them to my hamsters, they are small enough for them to take from with ease and in my opinion my hamsters love them! One peek of these and they all go mad for them anyway!

Overall:

A value treat that my pets seem to love! Containing milk (as well as a few other ingredients of course), they do contain needed minerals as well and I give them these treats in a limited way, making sure they have lots of fresh water about and along with a usual healthy diet too!

A bargain of a bag with around 80 small drops in, they are cheap to buy but my hamsters believe they are good quality so we all happy!
