Tesco Pet Insurance:
... we rescued our cats - Honey and Rocky we decided to insure them as have seen too many friends having to stump up huge amounts for vet bills. How did I find them? I searched on money supermarket inputting my pets details and Tesco was the most competive quote. You can go direct from the Tesco website under "finance and insurance" or you can call them but you will get a cheaper quote online (supposedl... Direct Line Pet Insurance ... have used direct line to insure our german sheperd Roxy since she was a puppy initially we planned to pay for one year and see if she was going to need any long term treatment. As it turned out she has a skin complaint which flares up a few times a year, we have had alergy test done and they were inconclusive and she ended up having to go on regular steroids and antibiotics. Direct line paid for the tests and treatment which is still on going and she is now seven years old so we have have allot of claims for this and other treatments most recently for pain in her back which she needed xrays for and more medicines. They have been great to deal with and send out forms wh... Read the full review: Pet insurance by grayless |

Tesco Pet Insurance ... have five dogs which we have accumulating over a number of years and seeing as I had Tesco Pet Insurance for the first one, just kept adding the successive dogs to the policy. I claimed on the insurance policy which was easy enough as I could give all the details over the phone. The problem came in trying to chase Tesco to reimburse me for the cost of this procedure. We had claimed for £50 back from the policy after we had taken our excess of £60 off and had to wait about four weeks to be reimbursed. We were lucky as the amount we were claiming was not going to bre... Read the full review: Tesco Pet Insurance by blinco |

Pet Plan ... the best plan around? I have kept dogs for years and yes the first time I took insurance I got stung with my dog having a life long condition that was only covered for 12 months! The vet then advised me to take out cover with pet plan and it has been the best thing I ever did. The cover lasted for the life of my dogs - everything from a thorn in the foot, to a suspected poisoning and then, horror of horrors, a terrible few months with my beautiful rescue dog from Greece. He had almost everything imaginable caught from a sand fly bite: Pet Plan covered all the tests, the vet hospital isolation ward, the injections and myriad of tablets prescribed to slow down the...
