Advantages: Great to deal with

We have used direct line to insure our german sheperd Roxy since she was a puppy initially we planned to pay for one year and see if she was going to need any long term treatment. As it turned out she has a skin complaint which flares up a few times a year, we have had alergy test done and they were inconclusive and she ended up having to go on regular steroids and antibiotics.
Direct line paid for the tests and treatment which is still on going and she is now seven years old so we have have allot of claims for this and other treatments most recently for pain in her back which she needed xrays for and more medicines. They have been great to deal with and send out forms which our vet fills in and receices payment from, we only paid exess on seperate claims for different treatments, so have only paid exess once for her skin condition which has had several years of treatment.
I would and have reccomenned them to anyone.
The cost adds up over the years if you dont use it but the peace of mind that if somthing should happen you can pay for it is well worth it.
We now insure two cats as well.
