Advantages: You dont have to worry

Disadvantages: You could end up paying for years and never using it

We have been with pet plan for three years when we got our first dog. So when i decided i wanted another, naturally we put our new puppy on the policy. We looked round and found a puppy who was in a very bad way and i couldnt leave him at the place we saw him. Unfortunatley on the 22nd of December last year after what the vet had said was a long term illness we had to have Jake our 17 month old pup put to sleep. At the time i was 38 weeks pregnant and as you can imagine we were short of cash;with it being xmas time. The whole bill came to nearly four hundred pounds which was a major shock.I decided i wanted him privatly cremated as he was a very special friend to us all.
All we had to pay was the 45 pounds excess and sent off our claim within a week (remembering it was the xmas period)
we had a cheque for the rest from pet plan so as you can imagine it was a weight of our minds. I would reccommend pet insurance to anyone who has a animal because you never know when the situation may occure and as a pet loving nation we want to be able to provide them with the best and tomorrow could be too late.
