Advantages: Help rid your skin of spots
Disadvantages: pricey
I bought these based on the last review here as I had never heard of them before and after reading the review andvthen researching them online was so impressed by what they claimed to achieve!
These are an american brand and more widely available over there. They also have a hefty price tag of approx £25 however I managed to find them online for £18 at salonskin.co.uk.
Fundamentally these are skin cleansing pad. One side cleanses and tones while the other pre refines andd exfoliates. Although they do have a medicinal smell they also smell of peach which is quite pleasent compared to the normal just medicinal smelling cleansing pads available to buy.
To look at these are quite thin and come out of the pot quite damp. When you apply them to the skin if you have any open spots or cuts it will burn like crazy I warn you now!! This is the Salicylic Acid in them. After you have applied them it does feel for quite a while like you have a bit of a mask on your face and your skin can feeel a little tight too. It should be remembered though that these are the max strenght pads so if you feel you only have very few blemishes it might be worth trying the gentle ones instead.
So the big question- do these work?!?! Well i've been using these for 5 days and my skin is definately looking clearer than it did so I think it's safe to say that yes these do work! I would really recommend these to anyone who has problem skin I think it couls be of real benefit to them. Personally I only use these once a day and then a Lush cleanser instead of the evening. For maximum results though and skin that is worse than mine perhaps twice a day would be more beneficail!
Summary: If you have spots or acne you need to use these!
