One of the first signs of aging appears around the eyes. Like the lips they have no oil glands of their own and they're probably one of our most expressive features, so it's probably one of the first anti-aging products we all buy for an area that we tend to target first. Thus because of this I am willing to pay more for eye products and although I have friends who scoff and presume that companies simply take advantage of our need for an effective eye product, you tend to find in reality that the eye area needs different research and treatment to the rest of the skin because it's thinner and has no oil glands.
