Advantages: Brings out the natural whiteness in and dogs coat.

INTRODUCTION

As many of you may know by now I am two beautiful old English sheep dogs, trust me they don't always look beautiful and white, especially after they have eaten of had a drink, their fur around their mouths gets stained and turns a mucky orange colour.

When the mouth area gets discoloured I can't help but think they look very dirty and un cared for so I have been trying to find a good dog shampoo that will remove the staining, ever the years I have tried various different brands and I found the perfect shampoo about two years ago.

THE SHAMPOO

The shampoo is made by an American company in Ohio called 8 in 1 pets. This actual bottle is called perfect coat white pearl shampoo and conditioner and is designed for pets with white or lighter coloured coats.

The shampoo and conditioner in one is designed using a white pearl formulas which remove and ground in dirt or grime and enhances the furs natural colour, therefore making my dogs look brighter than white.

The conditioning side of this contains Aloe Vera that helps detangle and soften the dog's coat, making to much easier to comb after they have been washed. I have also noticed that their skin seems to be much softer and less flaky so I fell that this is also down to the Aloe within it.

Not only does this remove dirt but is smells fantastic as it is coconut based and makes the whole bathing experience very pleasant and fresh smelling, for me which is a very big bonus on my part. The coconut smell lingers on the dogs coat for well over a week, with is nice as they not only look clean but they smell it too.

APPLYING THE SHAMPOO

This shampoo is diluted with water before applying it to the dogs fur, I mix one part shampoo to one part water and this gives me a very watery solution that lathers up very well giving me many soapy bubbles to work into the coat.

When it come to the dogs head and mouth areas I use neat shampoo as it has a more intensive smell that will make the dogs smell nice for at least a week, if the smell is not an issue then you can also use the diluted version on the head and mouth areas.

This is applied to wet coats and massaged into the coat and skin, to give the best results I tend to shampoo the dog with a flea shampoo before hand to remove any ground in dirt, that I finish with this shampoo to get the intensive whiter that whiter result.

PRICE

It is a large 473ml bottle and costs 4.79 for pets at home, this is a shampoo and conditioner that I have never come across in the past which maybe done to it being an American brand, but I am sure to stick to it no matter what the cost as it leave the dogs looking stunningly white and very bright.

MY OPINION

After trying to find the perfect shampoo for years, I am so glad that I have eventually got it. I feel that this is the best whitening shampoo on the market and I will continue to use it for years to come.

You can also buy this perfect coat for dark dogs, my mother in law has a black Lab and she now uses the black version on him, even his coat looks healthy and shiny that is so soft to touch when usually his hair was very course, so I recommend it for any dog really.

As this is a diluted style shampoo I find that a bottle can last me up to six months, well I did when I only had one dog but now that I have two I will expect it to last three months at least.

If you struggle to get a nice natural shine on you dogs coat then I would highly recommend these perfect coat dog shampoos and conditioners, I can promise you that you will not be disappointed.
