... usually use pets at homes own brand wood based cat littler for our newest arrival stripes the 21 week old kitten we have as he refuses to leave the house under any circumstances so has not yet learnt to toilet in my flower beds. Our local pet shop sells this litter and seen as i have to walk past there when taking the children to school and was pushed for time i decided to get a small bag of this, i payed £3.99 for a bag which did me 4 litter changes, the bags i get from pets at home are £4.99 and do me 12 littler changes so this is not exactly good value for money. ... would recommend this or any other wood based cat litter as opposed to the clumping cat litter. Wood based litter tends to disguise the smell of the cat s business a lot better than the normal stuff. This cat litter has a lovely pine smell and I find that I don t have to change it as often if I remove the lumps on a regular basis (sorry, too much information!). It also helps if you swish it around a bit as it brings the fresh litter at the bottom to the service. It may be more expensive then the other litter on the market but it is well worth it as it is less messy, smells better and you won t need to change it as often.
