Advantages: nice smelling dog food, pleasure to my dog

Disadvantages: keep an eye out for plastic within the food

Asda's Range of dog food named 'Hero' comes in several different varieties, two different sized cartons and are well priced.

The different sizes are 150g and 300g and come in different varieties according to size

150g-
Chicken & Ham in Jelly
Duck and Liver in Jelly
Rabbit and Kidney in Jelly

34p for one foil carton and multipack is £1.98 for six cartons which is a mixture of the above three varieties.

300g-
Beef and Spring Veg
Chicken and Lamb
Turkey and Chicken

49p for one foil carton, unfortunately no multipack which is a let down for people with larger dogs

All these varieties have been tried and tested by my little doggy and they all smell quite pleasant, the chicken and ham variety actually smells like ham!

I think these products are great value for money in comparison to other brands, but the only downside for me was that within two separate cartons of 300g beef and spring veg i found two big pieces of plastic, so i urge you to chop your dog's food with care and if you do become aware of anything take it straight back to asda as they will investigate this and give you a full refund

my little doggy still eats this brand of food as she is fussy but i am extra vigilant when putting the food into her bowl

so keep a eye out for our little canine friends
