As I explained in my previous review about the Tiger cat food pouches we have been adopted by a stray cat and since we live in a cottage in the Great Orme Country Park in Llandudno it is an ideal place for a cat to live! Now I have heard various people say that their cats will only eat the expensive cat food but I decided that Mew (as we have named him) would be given Asda cat food and hopefully he would be happy with that. We went to Asda to have a look at the range available and saw that their own brand is called Tiger and there seemed to be quite a selection within the range too. We chose some individual pouches of food which I have ... Read the complete review

My husband and I generally shop on line at Tesco's, but now and again we will venture out to the other supermarkets just for a change. This week we tried Asda, we used to shop at Asda on a regular basis before we moved three years ago to our present address but, when we moved found that they would not deliver to our area and so changed to Tesco. Asda is a nice store to shop in, the staff are always friendly and helpful and plentiful, and on the whole their products are abit cheaper. Their own brand products are very good and have always stood up to the test against other higher priced branded products. One such item that does this well is the Asda own ... Years ago when I first got my cat Ollie I naturally wanted what was best and so bought the top of the range cat food for him, nothing was too good for my baby after all. I saw food such as this as sub-standard and couldn't imagine it would be any where near the quality that the top brand food was. However circumstances changed and it meant that I could barely afford to feed myself and my children which meant the expensive cat food had to go. Whilst shopping in Asda I noticed these on the shelf at only 55p for the small box, £1.13 for the large box and £3.57 for a huge 4kg bag. As my cat is very very fussy and has been used to ... We decided to try Asda's Tiger brand dry cat food after discovering that our usually very particular pair of Siamese had actually been impressed with Tesco's own brand. Usually turning their nose up at any cheaper brands we were quite surprised and decided to pick up a box of Tiger dry cat food while shopping in Asda. Asda's Tiger dry cat food is available in various flavours; salmon, tuna and shrimp, chicken and turkey, duck rabbit and vegetable and chicken turkey and milk. This product is available for kittens as well as adult cats. The packaging varies depending on the flavour but all have a blue strip at the top depicting the Asda logo in bold ... Me and my Fiancee have 2 cats, who are quite picky when they want to be, which we have tried different, more expensive biscuits and every time they prefer Asda's own tiger range. They are available in a few different flavours but our 2 have only tried the Salmon, Tuna and Shrimp and also the Chicken and Turkey falvours. When our cats were kittens, we tried them on the Asda Tiger kitten range and the result was the same as the Adult range. They loved it. We have no problem with our cats choosing the cheap option, of course, and at approx 80p per box you cannot complain at the price, especially with some of the 'named' brands charging well over £2 per ...
