Advantages: No fighting fury ball desparate to get away!
Disadvantages: Not really possible to just get on the skin
These pesky little critters called "Fleas" are the bane of a cat's life! It doesn't matter how many times you comb them for flea's the little things have a way of hiding in the most awkward of places. But not any more! Now they have no where to hide.
All their hiding places where banished when I discovered Bob Martin had come up with a product that repels both flea's and Ticks. You know how it is, get the can of flea spray out and your cat can hear that a mile away and you can't find them for dust? It's just the same when you open a can of beans or a can of cat food! Just how do they tell the difference? But this time I had the upper hand! At long last I had come across a product they hadn't "heard" of.
All you get in the pack are six relatively small blister packs containing, wait for it, Margosa Extract 3% w/w ethyl butylacetylaminopropionate 9/8% w/w diethylene glycol methyl ether, whew! Each application treats one cat for four weeks so you have 24 weeks flea free, what a pleasure? They are really easy to apply too, which is great, because I don't enjoy wearing my cats as they spit hiss and fight every step of the way as I try to make life better for them. All you have to do is firstly snip the end off the tube, which actually is no mean feat, then part your pets fur between it's shoulder blades at the nape of the neck. I have found that doing this while they eat makes this far easier. Squeeze the tube and apply all the solution to the skin. Try to avoid getting it on the fur, although this is not really possible. Some inevitably does. Do not rub it into the skin either, because this apparently reduces the performance of the product too. But once the deed is finished, your cat will be flea and tick free!
Because the product is an insect repellent, you should really wear suitable gloves and disposal of the empty tube in a bin should be paramount so that the repellant is kept away from children.
Inside the packaging you will also find a chart to record the date you used your spot on. I think this is really helpful as it illiminate's confusion when it comes to re-dosing your cat.
All I can say is thank goodness for innovation. A very easy way to keep cats healthy and everyone happier!
Summary: Great way to enhance everyones life - freedom from flea's!
