Many of you may know that keeping a dog can be hard work with bathing, grooming, worming, de-fleaing being high on the priority list when caring for you dog. So dog hygiene products are essential when it comes to treating and preventing things like fleas and worms. As many of you know I own an Old English Sheep dog, and she can be very high maintenance as it is without the added worry of fleas. Touch wood my dog has never had fleas, only the odd tick. I use this shampoo regularly on my dog, not just to stop or kill his fleas as he doesnt realy suffer with fleas much possibly due to the fact that he is a realy smelly dog who likes to roll in anything that smells worse than him and living in the country side there are a lot of things around for him to roll in. I buy this in a 150ml bottle for £1.99 the bottle is a see through plastic with a screw on lid, i like this as i can clearly see how much shampoo is left in the bottle. To use this shampoo you need to dilute it in luke warm water, you need 300 ml of water for 30ml of solution to be diluted in for a small dog, 50ml of solution for a medium dog ... Our Border Collie, Chloe, has had numerous baths in her time, although not all of them involved a shampooing. However since we tried this product her coat has certainly become much better in terms of being shiny, thick and healthy looking. This shampoo comes in a see through plastic bottle and you can see the vibrant orange colour of the shampoo inside. It does not smell like Pantene – be warned. It’s more like a very strong version of Vosene shampoo and has been known to clear my husband’s sinuses at times.
