The Original Bonio Dog Biscuits

Description: Brand: Bonio / Food Type: Dog Food

... They are crunchy & hard but don't leave crumbs everywhere so compare well to other similar products we've come across that leave a real mess & stink to high heaven. The box is bright red with pictures of bones, a healthy dog & the Purina & Bonio logos plus the flavour chosen. Once open you notice that the bones aren't sealed in any way & although there's not really a smell I think it's best to pop them in a container to keep them crunchy & maintain the flavour. On the reverse of the pack ther...more

Premium Review The Original Bonio Dog Biscuits: Give a dog a Bonio. (515 words)

*What are Bonio Dog Biscuits?* Even if you've never owned a dog, it is more than likely you would have heard of Bonio's anyway. They are ordinary dog biscuits made by the Bonio company which is a part of Purina, who also produces brands such as Bakers, Winalot and Go-Cat. *The product itself* Bonio Bicuits are the largest of the dog biscuits I have brought for my dogs, each is around three inches long and quite thick- with a pale brown colour and as the name suggests, in the shape of a bone. Each biscuit has the Bonio name stamped into the middle so you can be sure you are giving your dog the real thing! The hard, crunchy texture of Bonios are ...  Read the complete review

If by any chance some of you have read my review on Bakers Complete, you will be aware that my dog has a condition called a chronic pancreatic insufficiency meaning that he is unable to digest his food without the aid of medication. I am always on the look out for products that Sandy can have that won't hurt his diet or make him any more uncomfortable than what he already is, and Bonio is one of the products that I swear by. Over the years Bonio's have developed and you can now obtain them in various sizes depending on the size on your dog. Bonio Original - This is the medium size that you can purchase in small boxes or big boxes - for ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review The Original Bonio Dog Biscuits: glad I'm not a dog! (451 words)

Our Pomeranian is an extremely fussy eater & I'm really surprised that he's as healthy as he is considering how little he eats in the form of 'proper' meals. To be honest I much prefer our cat because she doesn't bark, but hubby & daughters dote on our Pom & hubby will often come home with treats for him. The latest favourite is Bonio dog biscuits which can be bought in several flavours, chicken, original or beef which all claim to 'keep tails wagging'. They do a large bone biscuit as well as a Bitesize Variety Pack & all go down well with our canine friend. They come is 2 sizes of boxes - 350g for around £1.15 or 1.2kg for around ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Your never alonio with a Bonio! (767 words)

You might think it a bit odd that someone who doesn't own a dog would write a review on Bonios. I would love to have a dog but I work away from home too often! I have the next best thing. Both of my children, who live nearby, have dogs. I get to look after them fairly frequently, which is great! I also get to send them home too! (Just like grandchildren really!) I always keep a box of Bonios in the kitchen as a treat for the dogs when they visit. In fact they have been known to sit staring at the box until I take the hint! It's a square red box with a picture of a Basset Hound looking imploringly upwards at the Bonio Logo. The box is ...  Read the complete review

My dogs always get a couple of treats to go to bed with and I like to vary their treats and try to find ones that aren’t to fattening or unhealthy. Here I will be reviewing Bonio Dog Biscuits. Packaging Bonio Dog Biscuits come in a red box with Bonio written across the front is the shape of a bone. At the bottom of the packet is a picture of the top half of the head of a Basset Hound. On the back of the box is all the usual info such as ingredients and a customer comments address and phone number. The Bonio The Bonio biscuit itself is shaped like a bone and is a light brown colour with the word Bonio imprinted on the actual biscuit. ...  Read the complete review

Comes with everything you need Lights/filter etc all run off same adaptor - no good for holidays

Good for teeth and gums, value for money, 4 treats in a pack Not long lasting like they claim to be, poor ingredients

Kills fleas, cleans coat, keeps it healthy Very smelly in shampoo form - not so bad after use on dog

Very effective, quick and hassle free for both the dog and me. These can dry out very quickly.

Excellent safety feature, strong & robust, lightweight, bright, long battery life, waterproof, cheap May be too big for very small dogs

Appetising (to dogs), reasonably priced, an absolute god send when we got our puppy The Beef one seems to be offensive to puppies!
