When we bought our new setter puppy home we were given a supply of Beta puppy food together with an information sheet of how much and when to feed him. All went well for the first few months and he grew quickly and was fit and healthy. However when he got to about 7 months old he decided to go on hunger strike. He was fit and healthy and seemed to be growing normally, although he was a little on the lean side. A check up at the vet confirmed that there were no health problems and it was suggested that a change of food might be helpful. Like most dog owners I wanted to feed our pet a good quality dog and wanted to see him enjoying his food. I first tried James ... Read the complete review

Many of you would be surprised at how much complete and utter rubbish is in most well known dry dog foods, such as Pedigree and Bakers. My 4 year old West Highland Terrier Max had been fed on Pedigree Complete since he was a puppy right up until a year or so ago, until I came across a website about how awful some dog foods are, they are full of meat by products such as bone, skin, feathers, beak..all the cheap leftovers. As soon as I got back home I done a little research on this ... Read the complete review

Therefore we all what want is best for them, but with so many different brands and variety of food ... Read the complete review

Burns is a range of pet food developed by John Burns, a Veterinarian who takes a holistic approach to the heath of animals. All products are hypo-allergenic and free from artificial flavourings, colourings and preservatives. They cater for Cats, Dogs and Rabbits with both dry and wet foods though I only have experience with the Adult Dog Dry food. The dog foods come in variety of flavours and types including Brown Rice with Chicken/Duck/Fish/Lamb/Venison and Pork with Potato. They also do speciality foods including for working dogs, puppies, and pregnant bitches. Prices for the standard seem to vary depending where you buy though I have found a ... I have had dogs my whole life and recently came across a few problems with my own dog, and my brother's dog. Burns Dog Food has helped these problems immensely; here I will explain a little about Burns Dog Food and how it has helped me… Burns dog food is a hypoallergenic food for dogs of all ages, including seniors. This means it contains no dairy products, wheat, Soya or beef, ingredients that may cause some food allergies in dogs and cats - bringing digestive tract, skin, coat and other problems. Burns is a hypoallergenic food developed for the avoidance of food intolerance, but it has also been developed to ensure excellent health and ... Read the complete review
