My Experience
I bought this to mix with my puppy's dry food to encourage him to eat a bit more. On the shelf in Lidl it was the can that stood out. As fit as a butchers dog was what came to mind. I bought 2 cans of this one and 2 of another, which I'll review later.
The can has a picture of a dog running along the beach, full of life and energy. Under the Butchers name it says natural nutrition so I expected it to contain healthy ingredients.
When you open the tin the meat is totally coated by jelly. The actual meat is minced quite finely rather than meaty chunks. It smells like dog food, not particularly appealing!!
It certainly went down well with Nemo who either polishes it all off or carefully and skilfully eats the canned meat and leaves his dry biscuits!!
I may well buy it again but will probably have a look at some others - another chance to review.
