Having toiled for years with numerous Staywell catflaps which constantly let the local toms camp out in our house whilst excluding my own 3 moggies, I discovered Pet Mate. This electromagnetic flap has never once failed to do it's duty. The cats and I are delighted. I'm pleased to see there is a variety suitable for double glazing as I'm soon to move to a glass doored house and don't want to be Pet-Mate ... Read the complete review

I got my first kitten in May 1997. Lovely fluffy black bundle of joy, with white socks, white bib, white cheeks and large voluptuous white whiskers. At the time I lived in a three storey maisonette without a garden. Normally I would not have got a cat without a garden but the plan was to move within six months or so, to a house with a garden. However, as such plans go, it turned into nearly two years by the time we eventually moved. So we now had a two and a half year old cat who rarely went out side other than if it was sunny and the front door was open and hubby was working on the car just outside. And it was a big scary world. And to top it off her ... Read the complete review

Hello. Me am pusscat. Black pusscat. Rowr. My master, James, is out again and me did be using this computer. Me did be finding it very easy. Why does James make loud shouting noises which make my friend and I run away when he uses this computer? Me did find it very easy. My master did get us a Catmate cat flap when we did move into this house about six months ago. Me and my friend, who is also black cat, who I fight with sometimes, we did enjoy the catflap a lot. My master did fit it himself, and he did not shout too much, but he did use the big scary green twisty thing which makes lots of noise which he normally gets out to put holes in walls to put ... Cat flaps in general If you own a cat you will obviously want to get all the accessories that will make life for you and your new pet an happy one. A cat flap is something that a lot of cat owners will swear by, my mother-in-law certainly does with 6 cats. Of course though you will need to train your cat to use the cat flap at first, but even then some cats will still sit by the cat flap meowing for you to open the door as they are too lazy to push the door open themselves. You will find as with most animals that the best way to train them to use it is with food! Placing their dish the other side of the flap will sometimes do the ... Read the complete review

What a wonderful product this is! We've just moved house, and when we first moved in, there was no cat flap. The one we have now was supplied for us by the local double glazing firm who came to fit it as well as the new panel for the back door, and since we've had it it's wonderful. Although I can't recall the actual model of cat flap that we've got, it has a magnetic door to stop it from blowing about in a force 9 gale, and has various locking positions. It can either be open both ways, in-only, out-only or totally locked, which is handy if you want to keep your own pets in on bonfire night etc. The magnetic strip is quite well ...
