Advantages: No odour, long lasting
Disadvantages: Would love to buy it in bulk, bigger bags
This is the best cat litter in my opinion, let alone my cats.
I was sick of having to renew cat litter all of the time so I have tried a fair few brands on the market. This litter is a little more pricy at 6.49 for 10l but a bag lasts you TWO MONTHS. I know your saying I dont believe it right now because that is what I said at the start also. I was using a bag a week of other brands so I thought theres no harm in trying it.
I buy this litter from Pets at Home as my local supermarkets don't stock it. Its in a bright and cute bag with two cats on the front. This litter is a natural litter made out of organic fibres and is so much more safe for your felines.
The bag comes with a handy carry handle on the top. I always snip the string on one side to give me a pouring lip. This litter is in very small pale yellow kernels and has no odour.
When your cats have done their business, you simply need to "filter" the business out with a litter scoop and the unused kernels fall back through the scoop and the business can be flushed or binned. This saves a hell of a lot of litter. Once the litter hs been used it turns a darker yellow. And no matter if its day 1 or day 14 of the same litter, it never smells! Because of the fibres of the litter holding the odour it never lets out a nasty whiff.
Like I said, a bag of this lasts me two months and I have two large litter trays with two little cats. This means I am only paying around £36 per year on litter rather than paying the £2 a week I was paying which equates to over £100.
There is also very little tread for this litter. Not a lot at all sticks to my girls paws.
Overall, I have never used a better litter and I think that this product is excellent value for money.
Summary: Cats Best? My best!

- 20/02/09 Sounds good- my adult cat very rarely, if ever, uses his litter box but my young kitten has taken to using it an awful lot more, will look into this. |
