Advantages: Easy to use and great value for money
Disadvantages: Not high quality and not suitable for all cats
I bought this kitten starter kit from argos about one month ago when i purchased a kitten.
I must say it is great value for money, as buying all items seperately would have cost more than twice as much. I paid 24.99.
It came all in blue and you could not chose a different colour, which was a little disappointing as i got a female cat.
It came with a bed, that I found squashed in the box and it did not take on its correct form for quite some time. It does however have one lower wall for the kitten to climb into, which was handy.
The scratchpost was handy, as it had a little fluffy ball hanging from the top, that my kitten enjoys to play with, but found it too small for my kitten to stretch and scratch properly.
It also came with a twin bowl for food and water, which was too high for the kitten in the first few weeks (I got her when she was 8 weeks old), but is now a perfect size for her.
The carrier is not as stable as I had liked it to be, but for a light kitten it was perfect.
The whole set came with easy to understand instructions of how to assemble each indivual item (only the carrier box and the scratching post needed assembling).
All in all I would recommend this starter kit to anyone purchasing a kitten, but would advise that you may need to update a few items as the kitten grows older.
Summary: The kitten starter kit is a great starter kit, but may need updating after some time
