Advantages: has almost everything you need for your kitten.

Disadvantages: Only comes in one colour and your kitten may struggle to use everything at first.

Thinking of getting a kitten? Then theses items are all necessary, At £24.99 it is an absolute bargain.

In this kit you get a carry basket, litter tray and scoop, food/water bowl, scratching post and a bed.

The cat basket is necessary for taking you kitten to the vet for check-ups and vaccinations. It is sturdy enough for a small kitten/cat. It has slits to the sides of the box allowing light inside and letting the kitten see out of the box, the front metal door also has openings to allow in the light and there is a water bowl which attaches to the front of the basket allowing the kitten to have a drink out and about. The handle at the top of the basket is easy to grip and feels sturdy.

The litter tray is large enough that you can use it as the kitten grows. The scoop that comes with it is great for easily keeping the tray clean. The only downside is the sides are quite high so if the kitten is small they may struggle to get inside.

The water/food bowl has two sections, one for water and one for food. The dishes are quite deep so you can get enough water and food inside to feed a cat, again you can use this as your kitten grows. The only problem I found when the kitten was eating food would end up in the water section. In the end I bought two separate dishes.

The scratching post is well made and lasted my kitten up until the age of two before it became quite tatty. The ball attached to the post makes for a great toy and gave my kitten hours of amusement. The bad thing about it is that when my kitten was younger she wasn't able to reach the ball.

The cat bed is well padded so allows your kitten to be comfortable when resting inside. The bed is also quite big so can be used as the kitten grows.

This is definitley worth the money if your going to get a kitten. The only other drawback is that it only comes in the blue colour.

Summary: A great set if your getting a kitten.
