For the past few years we have been the proud owners of two fine cats that go by the names of Picasso and Smirnoff. Unfortunately due to the nature of my job, they find themselves stuck inside for long periods of the day and are forced therefore to use a litter tray for their business rather than going outside. I have a princess who is an indoor cat (outside is far to dirty and noisy for her liking) and is VERY particular about where one spends a penny! We have had our cat for nearly a year. He's been a house cat his whole life - having been one with his previous owner, although we have just bought a cat flap so hope that when he goes out he will do his business outdoors more than in the flat! The breeder told us which cat litter he was used to when we got him. It was a wood pellet sort of cat litter and very expensive. Since our handsome Mew adopted us last June we have tried many different cat litters for him - clumping, non clumping, brown, white, you name it we've tried it. We did go for the cheapest at first but we haven't really been happy with the quality or the smell that lingers! I would like to enlighten you about the merits of Catsan as I have had the joy of caring for a family of Persian cats for many many years. These cats live indoors and so you have to have a litter tray which in my opinion is the only problem with keeping cats within the confines of a home. Having said that because they don't go out we don't have any problems with cat fleas, so I think this is a positive thing since in days gone by we did when our moggies went roaming, but that's a different story!
