After being frustrated with several so called 'top brands' of cat litter, Catsan was my final attempt before heading back to the newspaper method.

I was pleased with it from the first day, mainly because it was not being trailed through the house on the paws of the three moggies which certainly has been a problem in the past.

Secondly, it does as it says on the bag, it neutralises odours which is a fantastic bonus as I keep the litter tray in my front porch, cat poo is not a welcoming smell for guests when they walk into my house, now I don't have to worry about it.

The tray is only used at night as the cats are out during the day and I find that it only needs a full change once a week with poop scooping in the morning if needed and the occassional top up every other day.

The cats seem to be happy using it as they don't kick it out all over the floor anymore.

It's not that cost-friendly but for the benefits it's definitely worthwhile.
