Expensive and doesn't do what it claims (Catsan Hygiene Litter)

This is quite a pricey litter, and in my opinion isn't really worth the money. There are better supermarket own-brand ones out there. However, that said, my cats had no problems using this, they approved of it fully.

My main problem is that I don't find it gets rid of smells as it claims. I noticed a smell of cat pee hanging around after only a couple of uses, which was worse than the supermarket stuff I had used before. In fact, I only got this because my home shopping delivery from Sainsburys was out of stock of their own brand - I wouldn't choose it myself as it is pricey and I prefer clumping litter, easier to clean.

Another problem, maybe a little frivolous but worth mentioning, is that the actual litter grains are quite large, and therefore painful on the feet if you stand on one which has been kicked out of the tray (which is fairly inevitable)!!!

I doubt I will buy this again, it's not the worst available but I think there is better, cheaper litter out there.

Summary: Not worth the cost
