Advantages: No odour, no mess, reasonable price

I have a princess who is an indoor cat (outside is far to dirty and noisy for her liking) and is VERY particular about where one spends a penny! I have tried all sorts or cheap litter and she either point blank refused to use the tray or the smell was awful! My friend put me on to Catsan and I have never looked back.

***The packaging***
The litter comes in a paper bag coloured in different shades of blue with a white handle. It has a picture of the litter on the bottom right hand side and a white cat sitting on a cloud on the left. The top of the bag on one side is designed to be pulled open in to triangle lip for easy pouring.

***The Litter Pieces***
These are a nice white colour and are like little part of grit I guess. when you pour it can be a bit dusty at the end of the bag but other than that not very messy to pour out. Soiled littler bits go a grey colour when they need removing.

***Instruction for use***

Fill the litter tray with CATSAN Hygiene Litter to a depth of about 5cm. Remove the soild waste and soiled litter regularly. Completely empty the litter tray at least once a week and clean with near boiling water and household disinfectant. The tray should be completely dry before refilling.

I have no trouble purchasing this brand, This litter is part of a whole range but definately my favourite, it comes mainly in a 10L bag from Tesco, Asda, Sainsburys for no more that £5 but often I get the 20L from Pets at home for just under £10 to save trips to the supermarket.

***My Opinon***
This litter is not the cheapest but it is the best I have come across. The only place for my litter tray is in the hall of my flat, and although it can be a bit messy as she likes to kick it out there is no smell - even in the warmer weather 10L usually lasts me about 4 weeks so £2.50 a week I don't think is too bad in the long run. Its easy to get rid of the solid waste, its not the best at clumping but you can scoop a good chunk of the soiled litter out. One thing I have found that makes it a little easier to clean my tray out is to line it with newspaper.

This is litter really hides the smell, its also nice to look at - nice and white. i wouldn't use anything else and neither would madame!
