I have tried lots of different brands when it comes to cat litter but I always seem to come back to this as it’s the best unfortunately its also the most expensive! I purchase a 20 litre bag of Catsan for £8.37 from my local Asda and this tends to last me a week or two depending on how often its gets emptied. It’s ...  Read the complete review

For the past few years we have been the proud owners of two fine cats that go by the names of Picasso and Smirnoff. Unfortunately due to the nature of my job, they find themselves stuck inside for long periods of the day and are forced therefore to use a litter tray for their business rather than going outside. Over the years, I have experimented ...  Read the complete review

I have a princess who is an indoor cat (outside is far to dirty and noisy for her liking) and is VERY particular about where one spends a penny! I have tried all sorts or cheap litter and she either point blank refused to use the tray or the smell was awful! My friend put me on to Catsan and I have never looked back. ***What they ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Pick Of The Litter... (333 words)

Earlier this year I got a young kitten. After buying most of the bits and bobs she would need I went out to buy the last few things which included buying litter. Ideally I wanted something that was cheap but stopped the smell and clumped together. Shopping in ASDA I saw they had their own brand cat litter on offer, it was a massive bag ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Catsan Hygiene Litter: Almost puurrrfect cat litter (780 words)
by - written on 28/07/09 (Very useful, 78 readings)

We have had our cat for nearly a year. He's been a house cat his whole life - having been one with his previous owner, although we have just bought a cat flap so hope that when he goes out he will do his business outdoors more than in the flat! The breeder told us which cat litter he was used to when we got him. It was a wood pellet ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review you payed HOW much for your litter?! (193 words)

I have a 1 year old house cat, after 5 months i reverted to a much cheaper brand. As appealing as it sounds boasting 'reduces odour' 'doesn't clump' etc it isn't worth the price, ezpecially if you are living on a budget. I live in a small flat so i wanted something that kept the smell away, but i find any cat litter does this - or maybe ...  Read the complete review

My cat is now 19 years old so as you can imagine I have tried a few types of cat litter in her lifetime! This is certainly the best one I have tried so far. I usually purchase a 10litre bag from tesco at about £10 but I have found 20litre bags at the local petshop at £16 which is obviously much better value. The ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Good value for money (151 words)
by - written on 24/05/09 (Useful, 19 readings)
Rating:

This is the best cat litter that I have used to date. It may be a bit more expensive than other brands but it does last longer and removes any nasty smells. It doesn't clump or stick to the bottom of the litter tray so it makes cleaning much easier and a lot less messy. My three cats use it and we haven't experienced any problems. As it is ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Catsan Hygiene Litter: Expensive and doesn't do what it claims (187 words)
by - written on 18/05/09 (Useful, 18 readings)
Rating:

This is quite a pricey litter, and in my opinion isn't really worth the money. There are better supermarket own-brand ones out there. However, that said, my cats had no problems using this, they approved of it fully. My main problem is that I don't find it gets rid of smells as it claims. I noticed a smell of cat pee hanging around ...  Read the complete review

Well this litter it has to be said is a premium product as it generally costs anywhere between £1-2 more than supermarket own brands. The manufacturers claim it neutralizes odours and I have to say in the roughly 8 years that I have been using this product that those claims are true I first started using it when I cot to ...  Read the complete review

Somewhere along the line I acquired a "housemate". Along with said "housemate" came a large ginger cat. Now I know I am taking a huge risk of upsetting cat-lovers AND cat-haters up and down the country with this review but I'm a risk taking girl lol. So before the arrival of the Mr. Cat I had to make certain preparations. The ...  Read the complete review

I guess I just have to add to the rousing chorus of approval for this product. My cat Jasper is extraordinarily fussy about his toilet arrangements, the slightest whiff of his own urine or poop in the tray and we will find him doing his business all over the carpet to teach us a lesson. We started Jasper off when he was a kitten on an ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Catsan Hygiene Litter: cat san (184 words)
by - written on 08/03/09 (Useful, 40 readings)

I have tried many cat litters in the past but catsan is definitely the best so far! I'm not sure exactly what price I paid, I think around £5 for 10 litres, which is slightly more expensive than other cat litters, but is definitely worth the money. The main thing I like about Catsan is that it really doesn't smell. You will see on the ...  Read the complete review

While my female cat Phobe prefers to use a certain outside area in the back my pampured half persian Janga (who is my profile pic) has never taken to this idea at all and turns his nose up at the idea! After being frustrated with several so called 'top brands' of cat litter, Catsan was my final attempt before heading back to the newspaper method. I was pleased with it from the first day, mainly because it was not being trailed through the house on the paws of the three moggies which certainly has been a problem in the ...  Read the complete review

Express Review on Catsan Hygiene Litter
by - written on 27/12/08
Rating:

I have to agree with previous posters and have finally found a cat litter that hides any pee smells. My kitten is 7 months old and has only just started exploring outside during the day on her own. Must be good as she insists on coming back inside for a pee in comfort rather than get her bottom mucky outside! I won't let her out at night so will stick to this one as it is good value for money in my humble opinion.

Since our handsome Mew adopted us last June we have tried many different cat litters for him - clumping, non clumping, brown, white, you name it we've tried it. We did go for the cheapest at first but we haven't really been happy with the quality or the smell that lingers! Having read a few reviews I decided that the time had come to ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Catsan Hygiene Litter: Catsan Cat Litter Is Second To None Especially For Indoor Ca ... (991 words)

I would like to enlighten you about the merits of Catsan as I have had the joy of caring for a family of Persian cats for many many years. These cats live indoors and so you have to have a litter tray which in my opinion is the only problem with keeping cats within the confines of a home. Having said that because they don't go out we don't have ...  Read the complete review

I know I'm probably getting far too excited over cat litter but this stuff is absolutely fantastic! I have used cheap cat litter in the past with my previous kitty and just thought the smellyness was part of the package of having a cat! Not to forget the expense and the dust and relentless scrubbing of the litter tray! Catsan is ...  Read the complete review
