Catsan smart litter WAS brilliant. Me and my cat thought it was the bees knees but unfortuneately over the year the amount of litter in the pack has been so reduced that after only two days my cat refuses to cover her doings, and yes I do clean and empty it daily. I used to find it hard to lift the packet now, I can lift two in one hand with no trouble. I am still using catsan but now I use a liner and do it myself.

My cats are in heaven! Last week I wrote a review about Catsan litter which is an excellent product. This week I decided to try going to Asda for a change to do some grocery shopping and I saw this product on the shelf. Now I had better explain I have three cats all Persian and all living the good life lounging around on my settees and beds like they are on a permanent holiday! One of them a red girl called Marigold is very very fussy about her toilet area so I make sure it is always spotless! Cleaning the cat litter tray has got to be my least favourite household task. I've tried loads of different cat litters and have found that Catsan is the best for reducing odours. When I saw the Catsan smart pack, I initially ignored it because of the cost but one week my usual litter was out of stock so I picked up a pack. The Catsan smart pack consists of a ready made inlay pack. This means theres no need for a separate litter liner. You just unroll the pack into the litter tray and secure it around the edges using the elasticated drawstring. The liner itself is made from a thick light blue plastic and it has a microfleece liner to absorb liquids. This ... Read the complete review

Saw these in the supermarket a couple of months ago and as I was using catsan already I thought I would give it a go. It comes in a pack of two packs of 4 litres of catsan each in an extra absorbant micro-fleece liner. The idea of the liner is not only to absorb the excess liquid but it also has ties on the outer edge so that when you need to change the litter you just get hold of the ties and gather it all up, tie it up and put it in the bin. No more cat litter all over the place. This is much better than just using catsan in the litter tray- it seems to last longer between changes too! so it works out cheaper. I have 4 cats and was changing the litter sometimes daily ... Read the complete review
