Advantages: Tasty, but not, for me

Disadvantages: Scary stuff, for, St Bernards

Cesar - for man eaters who rip your throat out? No, the key thing is the missing letter 'A' in C(a)esar - less the emperor of the world than for something that is as yappy as a nasty little yappy thing. When I tell you that this stuff started out as 'Mr Dog' I think you get the picture...

Cesar is a dog food that comes in either tins or plastic containers with peel off lids and it's exclusively for the smaller breed of dogs as it includes a special yap proof ingredient...

Mrs D is a big lover of the cairn terrier (very, very suspicious if you ask me, and even if you don't, still extremely sus) and so we get through a lot of this odd little delicacy. Cairn terriers are small dogs who like a lot of exercise and I guess they're well typical of the yapsters who eat this sort of muck.

It actually looks quite palatable (S-H-U-D-D-E-R!!) and it comes in a lot of well tasty (BY DESCRIPTION lunkhead!) varieties, like chicken, beef, rabbit, lamb, rat, pork.... wait a min, rat? (Just checking to see if you're paying attention all you skim readers out there - I could add that anyone who reads this op without picking this bit up are all scum sucking churners who deserve to have their bottoms burned in Hell - I wonder how many readers will pick this up and comment on it)

It actually smells all right and looks like it is actually made out of meat. Our two terriers really love the stuff, although you have to add in small bite mixer to give them a bit of roughage, but for our older dog (now fifteen) it's not enough and he's eternally on the hunt for tit bits.

For small dogs, Cesar is excellent food and ours have never turned their noses up at any of it (apart from when they're well stuffed) and we've been buying it for about fifteen years.

I don't know whether it actually tastes good or not, but there was a guy I used to know called Captain Buckett who once ate a curry made
out of pedigree chum - this is probably a bit babyish for his manly tastes - have to mix in some broken glass......
