The first time my cat saw Da Bird in action he started making a wobbly chirping sound cats sometimes do observing birds in trees. While doing this he tried to gain a strategic killing position climbing the highest peaks in the room. It does seem to possess a certain aerodynamic quality which appears realistic even to human eyes. When you let it drop to the floor, your cat will stalk it as if he/she were genuinely in hunting mode. And back in the air again while you whirl it about, Da Bird mimics bird flight by spinning using air resistance catching the feathers and front section to propel it. There is really nothing bad that I can say about this cat toy. The Da Bird sounds simple and it is, but honestly the response you get from your cat will be amazing. It is basically a plastic rod that comes in two parts with a string and a clasp at the end. The actual Da Bird bit is the feathery attachment you get. There is something about this that makes cats go nuts. A few of my friends told me about it and warned me that I would have to hide it away from the boys as cats love it so much. Being a bit sceptical, however always on the lookout for great new cat toys, I decided to give it a go. All I have to say is make sure you have a nice big space to play with it! My boys were intrigued even when ... Read the complete review
