Advantages: They'll stop being hungary for once
Disadvantages: Afterwards they'll be hungrier than ever!
I have a few ideas that'll have your cats going bonkers! 1. My cats love ping pong balls! Stick a needle and thread through a couple of them to make a sort of string with ping pong ball beads on it, get my meaning? then tie it somewhere up quite high (so it dangles down), then show your cat, wiggle it so it moves and they'll play with it for hours! 2. Get an old glove, tie tassels and dangly stuff onto each finger, hover your hand (wearing the glove obviously) over the cat and wiggle your fingers, watch them go mad! 3.To stop cats climbing all over a christmas tree and knocking it over put vinegar on a tissue and rub it all around the tree, or where ever you don't want them to go. They'll hate the smell! Or give them their own minature tree, put solid, unbreakable, un-chew-able, un-swallow-able decorations along the bottom branches, they'll play with tha instead! 4.Record them meowing when their hungary, then hide the tape player and play the sound back, they'll take ages trying to work out where the sound is coming from, they'll probably find the tape player though! 5.Just give 'em a ball of wool! (be careful they don't strangle themselves though!)

- 19/09/01 Thanks for the vinegar tip. I knew there was something that would deter Sylvester but I couldn't for the life of me remember what it was! Yippee! I'll have a christmas tree this year! |
