Advantages: The Jelly Appears To Be The Clincher
Disadvantages: Not The Cheapest Brand
I bought some Felix Rabbit & Lamb in jelly cat food for one of my cats today.
It's made by Purina who are a division of the Swiss company Nestle. Previously the Felix brand was owned by Dalgety and before that by Quaker. For many years Felix have used a Black and White Body and Face cat in their advertising on television and this is also reflected on the outer packaging of their cat food.
In Sweden the Felix brand is known as "Pussi".
My cat loves this Rabbit & Lamb in Jelly. It cost me 35p and is in a silver metal square (almost ash tray like) container with a peelable foil lid on the top. I don't know its weight but it is approximately 3 inches (7.5 cm) square
and 7/8ths of an inch deep (2cm).
When you open the lid the container is full of meaty chunks in a generous amount of jelly. It does smell a bit strong to the human nose but nearly all cat foods do.
One of my cats loves this stuff and particularly adores the jelly, sometimes licking the jelly off first before tucking into the meat.
Having bought many brands of cat food I would gauge this particular offering from Felix as being towards the luxury end of the market, but my cat is worth it.
I would recommend this cat food to any cat.
