Advantages: Tasty (so I'm told!), great offers
Disadvantages: Pricey, dry food only comes in smallish boxes
Mine turn their fussy little noses up at anything else! Felix is a good cat food which is regularly on offer in the supermarkets. Cats go for the taste although the varieties in Jelly seem more popular than those in gravy. From the person side, you often get special mixed packs of 12 or so tins which come with free gifts such as plastic lids to keep open tins fresh, feeding mats, christmas cards, calenders, feeding forks and fridge magnets. Also once a year they do a competition on the lids to win money and you can get free collars and bowls as the small prizes. These extras just make you feel like they want your custom. Should you ever have a tin with a problem (I had a gravy one with hardly any meat in) phone them up! They have a freephone number and after taking details of the batch number and the problem they thank you politely and mail you a pile of vouchers. As well as the tinned variety you can get the small square foil food which is a premium food. This does cost more (25p each) but its worth buying your cat some occasionally as a treat. Again they come in both jelly and gravy varieties and there are plenty to choose from. As I said though, keep them for a treat as one foil pack is just one meal per cat. My mother made the mistake of giving these to her cat too often and now the fussy mare won't touch anything else! Felix Duo's have become a firm favourite in the dry food department. This particular food has two flavours in every bite and my cats both go mad for it. They eat it quicker than other dried cat foods and this is great in the summer when the tinned food goes smelly in the heat. The only problem with this product is that it is only sold in boxes rather than the large sacks which can be better value for money. Definately a good buy for cat lovers. Buy Felix, the cats love it and you get a value product.
