Advantages: My cats loved it

Disadvantages: Its expensive

I got a wee new kitten a few weeks ago and promptly went out to buy a new cat bed, food, biccies etc when I came across Felix milk for cats. At about 60 pence for quite a small bottle I thought it was expensive but a good way to get some calcium into her system (I called her Sydney by the way) without giving her cows milk which is usually not recommended for kittens.

To put it quite bluntly, the poor new addition didn't get much of a look in with the first serving of this milk because as soon as the bowl hit the floor my other two cats came running and had a good sniff at it before proceeding to gobble the lot. Now this could have been a power thing but since they have largely not been bothered by the intruder on their territory, do not steal her food (that doesn't mean Sydney hasn't tried to steal theirs on more than one occasion, however) and have even befriended her somewhat, so I can't really use that as an explanation.

I tried again, this time wisely locking the other moggies in the front room, and I placed the bowl once more on the floor. Sydney immediately went to the bowl and was lapping away very happily; complete with contended purring noises, at the bowl of milk. So now I had three cats who all seemed to love this product and I gave them all another helping with their teatime feed. Again, it went down a storm and I have been buying it as often as I can ever since.

This product definitely gets the Webster cats' seal of approval and happy contended cat’s means happy, un-mithered me.

I really havent had any problems with it, Sydney took to it straight away and her stomach has been fine. If the RSPCA warned you to steer clear of it then I would definately take their advice though. My cats get regular supplies of water too anyway so maybe thats why it hasn't affected Sydney.

When I got my kittens from the RSPCA sanctuary they told me to steer clear of this milk as it is too heavy for their stomachs, they do not need th extra calcium and water is the best drink
