*What is Go-Cat?* Go-Cat is a complete biscuit-type pet food for adult cats, it is made by the Purina company which also produces Felix, Winalot, Bonio and Bakers. *The food itself* The kibbles of Go-Cat are a bit larger than most other cat food brands, and look alot more of a 'natural' colour, where Whiskas looks like it is pumped full of colours and additives. The biscuits are shaped to resemble the flavour of the food.. eg. the chicken variety has chicken-drumstick shaped biscuits and the the fishy flavours have fish shaped biscuits. Go-Cat can be fed alone as a cats only food or mixed with tinned cat food. *Packaging* Go-Cat comes ... Read the complete review

The favourite dried food of my three cats is definitely Hill's Science Plan. However, to my slight surprise, they also like Go Cat, and indeed prefer it to many more expensive brands of cat food. THe major advantage of this brand is its low price - it's five or six times cheaper than Hill's, which comes in handy (especially if, like me, you have more than one moggie in the house). Go Cat market a wide range of tastes and flavours of these biscuits, including one for 'Indoor Cats' - useful for me, since one of mine can't be persuaded to venture outside. I gather that it contains roughage that outdoor cats tend to get from eating plant matter - and it seems ... Read the complete review

Most people on Dooyoo who know me will know that me and my partner recently acquired a kitten, a small tortoise shell bundle of fluff. She spends a third of her day eating, a third of her day sh*tting and farting and the other third of her day chewing the crap out of anything she can bite (including me). And no before anyone asks, she doesn’t sleep, how I wish, anyway, what do I feed to this little scruffy looking hyperactive feline? Well, we were advised by the pet shop lady when we bought her to keep feeding the moggy on the same stuff that she had been fed in the shop as changing her grub could give her the sh*ts (wise advice). Well, she had ... Read the complete review

Ah! Time and inspiration at last! No wine, no hair products, this time it's.... kitty munchies! I have slight misgivings about writing opinions about pet food and suchlike as, ultimately, I can't test it to the full myself and have to rely on the considered reactions and opinions of my two dear ginger tom cats (Clarence, aged 11 years and 8 months, and Zachary - aged 11 years and 4 months). Normally I get Tesco's own brand Premium Crunchies for "my boys" as they like them and they are a good price but between bulk supermarket shopping I sometimes need to buy an extra box and this time they ended up with Friskies Go-Cat . They were ... Read the complete review
