... floor. It wasn't pleasant but at least they weren't jumping all over the place! Anyway, after around a weekwe stopped finding them, and haven't yet found anymore (touch wood). Although Frontline is expensive, it is worth it! After initially buying a 3 pack from the vet, I found that online it was the same price for 6. I have just paid £17 for 6 pippettes, which is very reasonable. I'm not sure how this site works with mentioning other companies in reviews but if anyone wants to know just message me and I'll let you know!...more

Premium Review Frontline Flea Control: Who's a flea bag? Not me! (812 words)
by - written on 07/03/08 (Very useful, 358 readings)

I have kept dogs for over 35 years but have only recently found that ticks and fleas have become a problem. I guess it is partially due to England's ever changing climate and the fact that, in the last 15 years or so, all my dogs have been rescued ones. As such they have often been neglected, as well as mistreated, and so have developed various skin problems and allergies. My beauty that I had a few years ago from the RSPCA had a flea allergy, having experienced an acute infestation of fleas prior to being rescued. This meant that his skin reacted badly to fleas. He was instantly put on anti flea medication which was a daily tablet. However as with most drugs this can ...  Read the complete review

I turned the page on my trashy magazine and MyDogs nudged his nose into my hand, looking for affection. “Whassup then?” I murmured, shifting his heavy furry body over my legs. The sun was streaming through the caravan windows and The Boyfriend was dozing on the seat opposite, his head on his folded arms across the table. The three of us sat in companionable silence, the summer’s afternoon drifting along. I watched The Boyfriend rub the side of his face, then his arm. All of a sudden he was on his feet, as though he’d been stung by a wasp. “Urgggh, where’s it gone?!” he yelled, flying out of the door and down the step into the long grass and gravel. MyDogs ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Frontline Flea Control: FRONTLINE AND FLEALESS (473 words)
by - written on 19/10/08 (Very useful, 160 readings)

I have been using frontline spot on for cats for over ten years. I have two cats now both fourteen years old. I originally used a spray flea control treatment but it's very difficult to hold down a clawing cat and I found my cats were scared of the spray treaments and that frontline drops are much easier and friendlier to use on the cats and don't distress the cat.It was originally only available from my vets and your cat had to be registered there and was at the time quite expensive really, costing over nearly £4 for each dose. I though have never had a problem with an outbreak of fleas due to constantly using this brand and wouldn't use one of the ...  Read the complete review

Every cat owner that I know has at one time or another had a problem with fleas. The biggest problem is the stigma that is attached to fleas, you might feel that it is caused by having a dirty home or what will other people say about you. Fleas are living creatures that will do all that they know to survive, feed and to breed. If you watch a cat it will wash itself and keep itself clean, but without help it can still have fleas. It is down to the responsible pet owner to help keep their cats and dogs flea free for most of the time With all flea treatments it is an ongoing process, pets and homes will be infested from time to time, the war is never ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Frontline Flea Control: Say Goodbye To Fleas And Ticks !!! (275 words)

My Springer Spaniel has always seemed to have a problem with fleas. Maybe he tastes nice I dont know!! Over the six years of having him, he always seemed to be digging and scratching at his coat. On closer inspection, yes those darned fleas were back. Just the mere thought of these disgusting things all over your body is enough to make you itch. I had tried everything I could think of, Bob Martin shampoos, flea powder and sprays nothing seemed to work. Last year I went to the vets with him and he suggested Frontline, a spot on repellant. It was costly at £22.00 but I was willing to try anything if it worked. Inside the packet were three pipettes ...  Read the complete review
