Absolutely fantastic! In reference to the poor experiences below: It may have been wise to hold the lead firmly and prevent the dog from getting their head to the ground in the first place. In reference to the pitbull: yes, perhaps it wont work with your dog.

I have a psychotic male 75kg Labrador. He pulls and pulls on the lead. We used to have him on a choke chain, but that just feels cruel and can lead to problems in the neck and spine later in life.

The Halti is absolutely fantastic! Slip it on, and keep a reasonable grip on the lead. Ensure the dog walks forward with you, and keeps his/her head up. Don't give him or her the slack to stick their head on the ground, or obviously, this new device will be removed by the wearer.

After a fantastic long walk, I came back without feeling my left arm needing to be bathed in ice! Well worth the £8 I spent at my local pet shop.

Summary: Fantastic. Can't fault it one bit!
