My cats have been raised on dry food their entire lives, wet food is a big treat in our house. Two suffer from intolerences and one suffers from the kitty version of Crohns, which makes it a smelly affair if we get the wrong food. After reading the ingredients of a well known brand I was appalled at the different additives and colourings in the biscuits. I couldn't believe the junk that I was feeding my cats without realising. I'm a big cat person and I spoil my furry children as if they were just that - kids! I received an email from a friend offering me trial samples of the James Wellbeloved foods for cats. Reading up on their clams of 'natural ... Read the complete review

When my husband and I bought our first Siamese cat from a reputable and trusted breeder we were advised that James Wellbeloved cat food was the best brand to use. When we bought our second Siamese, once again James Welbeloved was recommended and we were even given a James Welbeloved gift pack containing food, a bowl and a few other goodies. James Wellbeloved complete cat food contains wholesome, natural ingredients such as succulent turkey, lamb, duck , potato, maize, fish, rice and tomato. It is baked into crunchy nuggets before being smothered in gravy and then dried. Chicory, cranberry and rosemary are added to help support the immune system and to maintain ... We have 6 cats all of whom are fed on James Wellbeloved with great results. We were advised by our vet to feed a dry diet as one of our cats was pretty poorly. We had hand reared some abandoned kittens and despite knowing exactly what they had been fed one of the two we kept wasn't in good condition. He had a distended tummy, runny poo(sorry), was shedding hair by the ton, had no muscle tone whatsoever and was always hungry. His brother on the other hand was thriving and in excellent health. Anyway, after loads of vet visits he was diagnosed with a food intolerence hence the reccomendation for dry food. We decided to switch the lot to a dry diet. THe main problem ... Sometime around two years ago we were claimed by a pair of cats. As cats will, they walked through our back door, sat down, and proclaimed we were theirs. Such things happen. It was some time before we noticed that one of them seemed to have a skin condition. At first we thought it was fleas, but when the fleas went away, and Ivy continued to have dry flaky skin which seemed to be both painful and itchy for her, we realised we might have a problem. The vet suggested this stuff. Apparently it's hypo-allergenic, taking out the wheat used in most cat foods and using good quality natural ingredients to make sure they're exposed to less allergens.
