Advantages: 100% natural , high quality ingredients that will make a difference to your dog for the better
Disadvantages: Fairly pricely and not accessible at all local stores
When I first got my puppy dog food was a mystery to me as I had never owned a dog before but rescuing from a home had helped me find out exactly what I should be buying and what was good and bad for him.
To my shock the rescue home had told me that the well known brands such as bakers were actually not good for your dog as their ingredients are not of a high quality. They suggested James Wellbeloved kibble to me to which I sais "who?" as I had never heard of him before. They told me all the ingredients were 100% natural and easily digestable which pleased me somewhat as my pup has poor digestion, he is also a very fussy eater!
I have found the lamb and rice kibble to be the most popular with my dog although he does also like the turkey and rice which is a bonus as having a fussy eater can make it hard to feed him.
As the rescue centre is only run by contributions they could not afford to feed them on this top notch brand however it does not take them long to get used to the change in diet.
He is in so much better condition now than he was at the centre, his coat is thicker, softer and more shiny, his teeth are whiter and he is a much happier, livelier dog and I do believe this to be from his new diet.
It is however fairly expensive to buy and not available at all supermarkets but is easily found at pets at home etc. If you can afford it I would definately recommend starting your pup on this or changing your dogs existing diet over to this and see the difference for yourself
Summary: A well deserved, great diet for your dog
