Very good if you have an older pet with a sensitive stomach (James Wellbeloved)

Advantages: All the variaeties are nice smelling and our dogs like them all

Disadvantages: Price, but what can you do. Still it is cheaper than Science Diet

We have just switched our 3 dogs onto this food about 2 months ago and I would not reccomend anything else. The reason we switched was that we have 12 and 1/2 year old black lab who was experiencing lots of runny tummy problems. As she is getting old it was difficult for her to make it out to the garden in time. We were feeding her Wagg with some pedigree chum to make it more interesting. I suggested to my husband that we should move her to the senior version of JWL food and we also changed the meat to Chicken and rice Chappie. Well it was miraculous. More or less a day after the change her poops changed completely in consistency and this also helped her to be able to get out to the garden in time so she now has very few accidents. The James Wellbelove biscuits are so nice that she will even eat them without meat which she has never done before.

My two cavalier King Charles spaniel boys were on bakers complete, but we changed them to the ordinary James Wellbelove and they have stopped dithering over their food and it has helped with their poops as well, although they did not have any problems.

I wish I had changed to this food much earlier and I will now only ever give my dogs this dried food. The only issue is the cost. A large 15 kg bag of any flavour cost £38 upwards against the bag of Wagg at £10 for £15kg. However if this is what I have to pay for good quality food then so be it, my dogs are worth it.
