Advantages: Amuses dogs for hours, good for fussy eaters

Disadvantages: A little expensive for what it is

For people who are not familiar with a Kong, it is best that I explain what one is before I review this product. Kongs are hollow balls (and a few other shapes) of rubber with a hole at one end. You put food into the Kong, and your dog spends ages trying to get the food out to eat it. As well as being virtually indestructible, they provide entertainment for your dog when they are trying to remove the food.

This is where the Kong Stuff N Peanut Butter Paste comes in. My girlfriend has two dogs (which I have adopted) and I noticed this product on an internet site that I was looking at so I decided to buy it and see what everyone thought.

Packaging
The paste comes in a white bottle that has a blue lid. On the front is a picture of a dog holding out his Kong to his owner, obviously wanting the owner to fill his kong with this product. The nozzle of the can is a squirty nozzle (the same as the ones on squirty cream)
On the back of this bottle are ingredients and directions for use.

Price
I buy this product online as to be honest, I haven't actually seen it in any of my local pet stores. I buy it from http://www.companyofanimals.co.uk/kongstuffn.php and here it costs me £4.99 for a bottle which hold approximately 45 tea spoons of servings.

What Is This Product Used For?
Kong Stuff 'N Paste is put inside a kong with normal dog biscuits. The idea is that the taste and smell of the peanut butter paste, will entice your dogs to get the treats out. My dogs are always too keen for their treats to they didn't really need any enticing but I have friend's who have had trouble trying to encourage their dogs to get the food out of their Kong's and this product has worked for them.
The paste mixes with the biscuits and makes it harder for your dog to get the biscuits out of the Kong - I like to give this to my girlfriend dogs when we go out for sinner in the evening as it saves them getting bored.
This product can be used on the whole range of dog Kong's. You simply squirt a small amount of paste into your dogs Kong and then give it to them for them to enjoy, it will keep your dogs busy and entertained for hours.
To make this even more taxing for your dog to remove the food, you can also freeze this product in the Kong overnight! The fact that it is frozen really seems to excite my dogs and they often play with the Kong before deciding to remove the food.

Varieties
This product is available in four flavours as far as I am aware. These flavours are peanut butter, liver, puppy and fresh breath.

Result
The dogs love this product. Its great fun watching them slide their tongues into the Kong, trying to reach all of the paste and it is quite obvious that they are enjoying their mission to free the biscuits!

In Conclusion
I would definitely recommend this product to anyone who owns a Kong as it's a great simple way of making a Kong more appealing to your dog. Its very easy to use the product, you literally just squirt a bit of the paste into the Kong, and the treat is ready.
On the negative side, its quite expensive for what it actually is. I only occasionally buy this now as I think peanut butter does the same job and its much less expensive! This product is also quite hard to find unless you are happy to buy it online.

Summary: A great food aid to help fussy eaters and to amuse your dog
