The tube is metal and again bright orange with a white screw on lid. Like all these types of products the lid can get messy if any of the paste seeps out after you've closed it. I tend to wipe it with a piece of kitchen roll after we've done so there's none to sticky up the lid.

My boys (cats) are both 15 now and both a bit prone to sluggish bowels so I have a number of these laxative pastes to hand for such occasions. I use a variety of different ones depending on which one they currently like and how much oil they need, and one of the ones I regularly use is Laxapet. Laxapet is suitable for both cats and dogs and can be used for constipation or for helping furballs slide through the stomach. It is a malt flavoured paste, much the same as the rest, with added fish oils and vitamins. The dosage for cats is 2.5g to 5g per day for 2-3 days and double that amount for dogs according to the leaflet but I would say if you have a dog ... Read the complete review
