Every now and then I have a change from Catsan for my cats because I like to make sure that there is nothing lurking out there which might be easier than using my normal litter. I have three indoor Persian cats that live in luxury, and they are very particular about their toilet, it has to be spotless. This is a serious issue, because cats are obsessed with cleanliness, and dirty litter trays are a form of cruelty. At the vet school where my daughter trained they were told to be kind you should always provide one litter tray per cat, and to clean it regularly, any less than this and it is cruel. What they didn't teach her though, which I can, is ... Read the complete review

Being a modern thinking kind of chap, I’m here to help you understand the importance in us cats each doing our bit for the sake of the environment. For too long, we’ve shrugged our responsibility away saying that it isn’t our problem if the wild animals lose their homes. They’re not living in our neighbourhoods so why should we care about them? Just because we’re privileged enough to be cared for by the humans doesn’t mean we shouldn’t care about our fellow creatures though. Squirrels, foxes, badgers and other woodland creatures need a stabile home environment too, homes where food and shelter is plentiful. They ... Read the complete review

I got my first own kitten last Friday and we had to make a very quick pit stop at pets at home before we went to collect him. We have been out of the cat loop for sometime now having dogs and so we grabbed the nearest assistant and asked for his advice. He recommended Bio-Catolet as Cat litter and so we knowing nothing better brought 2 12ltr. bags for a new kiten. The Cat litter comes in a big bright green bag. On the front is a cartoon of a grey cat with a roll of toilet paper. AS well as an 100% Eco-logical logo and big black lettering saying Bio-Catolet. A red box contains the writing: -"Light Cellulose granules - Extremely absorbant and dust free - ... Read the complete review

Bio-Catolet is a natural cat litter that is 100% paper and therefore fantastic for recycling. It is soft and kind on cat's paws as it is pure paper and is dust free leaving no tracking trace throughout the house. It claims that it is 200% plus more absorbent and that it also neutralises odours and has "seasonal perfumes" built in along with flea and insect deterrents. I purchased my first lot of Bio-Catolet a good 8 months ago as my cats really do not like any of the gravel type products. They shake their paws a lot and one point blankly refuses to use a tray if it is filled with something he doesn't like the feel of. I ... Read the complete review

I've been using Bio Catolet litter for a few years now. I bought it initially because my usual was out of stock and also I was fed up with the amount of dust the normal stones type litter generates. It gets right up my nose when I'm changing the litter for fresh stuff! So I thought I'd try this and have been using it ever since. I have 3 cats using litter trays so I have to keep on top of keeping them clean as we all know how fussy cats are about everything, especially toilets. I find this litter to be the best at keeping everything clean and although it's pricey at nearly £5 a bag, it's fairly economical as you only need a shallow layer in the bottom of ...
