Advantages: Totally natural with nio nasty additives or junk!

Disadvantages: none!

When I knew I was going to buy a puppy I started to look into which food would be best for him. I quickly realised through reading up online that dry complete was generally considered the best for their teeth and also made for the nicest poo! But as any dog owner knows there are LOADS of different types of dry complete dog food!
Anyway after doing a lot of research I thought I had decided on Burns and went to my local groovy petshop called "petville" I had a chat with the owner who had a lovely selection of sample bags available for me to take (for free) and also suggested that since I was interested in the premium range of dry foods to also try the Natural Dog Food Company as she considered this range to be as good IF NOT BETTER than Burns! So i took home my free samples and did yet more research!

On the back of the packet it says that this food is 100% natural and includes steamed chicken mixed wholegrain "non wheat" cereals and vegetables in an entirely unadulterated form. So a pretty good start then!

In the Natural Dog Food Company's puppy food the ingredients are: Whole Cereals (wheat free). Chicken. Vegetables. 100% Natural Vitamins and Minerals or for a more specific amount-
cereals (brown rice minimum 36%), Chicken 28%, vegetables 15%

In nutritional terms: Crude protein 25% (100% digestible nutrients). Oil 11.0%. Fibre 3%. Ash 6%. Vitamins (100% natural) plus all other essential micro nutrients.

Now if you compare all this to say an average tin of dog food or say Bakers Complete dry you will REALLY see the difference! Those types of dog foods tend to contain colouring, preservatioves, additives and sugar a lot of which is just not necessary for dogs.

TNDFC also is a certified holistic product so if you are concerned about allergies or intolerances this may well be a good product to try as there is also an adult and senior range available too.

As for the price well a 15kg bag costs around £40. This may sound a lot but you do not need as much of the food compared to some of the cheaper brands as it is nutritionally far superior. I bought an 8kg bag for my pug and that lasts around 2 months plus and only costs £25!

My pug as a result has a lovely coat, good teeth and solid poo!

This is a food I would highly recommend to anyone with any dog breed.

Oh and if you would like to buy some or get a free sample I would recommend visiting their website at :

Summary: The best dog food there is!

I use either James Wellbeloved or Burns, but this does sound good!
