As soon as I set it up my cats loved playing with it. Either batting it and running away, or really attacking it. One of the great things about this toy is that the base is covered in a carpet type material which allows the cats to scratch and bite it without ruining it.

This toy is a simple one, but a very good one! It is a small base with a spring attached to it, on the spring there is a grey mouse with a squeaking noise inside it. When the cat bats the mouse it will swing and spring around, mimicking a darting mouse and also make a noise which is quite loud and fairly realistic. I purchased this toy for my cats when they were kittens (over a year ago now) from Wilkinson for £3.99.
