*What are Markies?* Markies are crunchy biscuit treat rolls for dogs made with marrowbone and cereal. They are made by the Pedigree company, a maker of dog food, treats and toys. *The product itself* These treats are rather large at around an inch long and quite thick. They have a dark brown crunchy marrowbone centre which is covered in a white biscuit which crumbles easily when bitten by the dog, these would be a good treat to take on dog walks as they don't brake up in your pockets or smell bad either. *Packaging* Markies come in red and yellow cardboard boxes which have the Pedigree rosette logo and pictures of a dog and the ... "It's time to go now." I have checked that the back door is shut and locked. "Have you switched the kettle off? Who's got the door keys, I've got the car keys, and did Lizzy turn the TV off"? "Hurry up!" "We are late again!" Where's your coat? I told you to put your coat on.... I slam the door behind us and hurriedly lock it, follow the troop up the path to the car, we are all settled in and ready to go. We have left the dog behind. That's all right though, he doesn't mind. This week i'm looking after my parents dog Poppy as you will probably know if you have read a couple of my other reviews. I do tend to spoil her when I am looking after her mainly because she is so upset about Mum and Dad being away. This week I opted for Markies which I found in Morrisons priced at £1.51 for a 500g box. The price was really good for the amount you get in each box. I bought these last Thursday and the box doesn't even look like it's been touched. I thought this would be a good treat that she would absolutely love. She is quite a fussy dog when it comes to food but loves her treats. Looking at the box you can tell ... Read the complete review

Scamp (my older dog) loves them and would eat the whole packet if I let her and Shaggie (my new puppy of 10 months old) nicks them from the cupboard. Scamp (my elderly dog) recently celebrated her 14th Birthday and from her toy (dog) boy, Pepsi, she was given a box of Markies. The reaction that Scamp and Honey (my sister in law?s dog) was one of extreme pleasure. I shook the box and both dogs came running. As I open the box, both dogs sat waiting in expectation. As I remove the first biscuit, the dogs? eyes widened. Scamp had the first and took it under my workstation to eat it within about a two minutes. Honey ?asked nicely? for hers and took it to her bed to eat. ... Read the complete review

*Introduction* Let me start by saying that I have two absolutely gorgeous and adorable black Labradors called Poppy and Coco. It had taken me years to persuade my parents to let us have a dog and they finally conceded two years ago. Now that we have them, I like to spoil them with a number of different treats. Pedigree Chum Markies were the first snack that we tried and they have definitely been a hit with my two. *About Pedigree Markies* Pedigree Markies are marrowbone biscuit treats for dogs of all sizes. They claim to be a natural source of calcium and phosphorus which help to maintain strong teeth and bones. These biscuits ... Read the complete review
