Before I begin to tell you about Jumbones, I think it’s only right that you get to meet with the girls who really know what Jumbones are all about. I’m pleased to introduce you to Skittle, she’s a ten year old black and white Border Collie who’s been my little girl since she was 7 weeks old. I have a 4 year old West Highland Terrier who loves his treats! The only problem is that they only ever seem to last a couple of minutes at the most! This is where Pedigree Jumbones come in usefull.. 'Jumbones' are a longer lasting dog chew made by the Pedigree company. They have a tough chewy outer filled with a soft meaty centre and come in 3 different sizes for different sized dogs. I recently re-homed a 6 year old collie cross, called Indie. He really enjoys his food but never seems to chew it so breakfast and dinner are gone in no time. I wanted something a little longer lasting but don't really like the idea of bones because of the way they split into sharp pieces, I always worry he will end up hurting himself. Pediegree Jumbones are made to look like they are bones filled with meat paste. However, this isn't the case. They are made of something a lot softer and are entirely edible. They are dog safe and as they are not real bone there is zero chance of the 'bone' splintering or shards breaking of that may damage your dog's digestive tract. The Jumbones are available in bites, small (3 in a pack), medium (2 in a pack) and maxi (1 in a pack). All are available in both beef and chicken flavours.
