... for any dog. The health benefits and the helping of cleaning their teeth make so much sense. I believe that they're so much safer than normal bones which as I said can tend to split; I've trod on so many bits of broken off bone to know how much it hurts. The only real downside I could possibly see to these is that once they get wet they do become a little sticky. If it should leave a mark on either their bed or the carpet it comes off easily enough with a little water. I would certainly recommend this product to any...more

Premium Review Pedigree Jumbone: Jumbone - more sugar than meat (1425 words)

Before I begin to tell you about Jumbones, I think it’s only right that you get to meet with the girls who really know what Jumbones are all about. I’m pleased to introduce you to Skittle, she’s a ten year old black and white Border Collie who’s been my little girl since she was 7 weeks old. Mokee is going to be nine this month, she’s a black and white Collie cross. We know she’s part Staffordshire Bull Terrier and Labrador too, but the rest is pure guesswork. Asha is the newest addition to the family, she’s another Border Collie, but this time a blue merle. She’s going to be 11 in a few days although you honestly wouldn’t know it from the way she behaves. Finally, ...  Read the complete review

*What are Jumbones?* Jumbones are longer lasting chew treats for dogs which are made by Pedigree, a well known pet food manufactuer. They consist of a hard sandy coloured outer 'shell' which is very tough and chewy filled with a dark meaty center. They are designed to last that little bit longer than regular dog chews, therefore keeping your dog out of mischief for a while! There are two different flavours available- beef and chicken with rice, so there is something to suit almost every dogs tastes. *Packaging* Jumbones are easily to spot on shop shelfs, they are packaged in the classic yellow and red colours of the Pedigree brand and have the ...  Read the complete review

I have a 4 year old West Highland Terrier who loves his treats! The only problem is that they only ever seem to last a couple of minutes at the most! This is where Pedigree Jumbones come in usefull.. 'Jumbones' are a longer lasting dog chew made by the Pedigree company. They have a tough chewy outer filled with a soft meaty centre and come in 3 different sizes for different sized dogs. The packaging is the classic red and yellow Pedigree colours with the product name, logo and picture of the product on the front aswell as the ingredients and feeding guide. My Westie either has the small size which are sold in packets of 4 (£1.27) or the medium size ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Chew Time! (544 words)

I recently re-homed a 6 year old collie cross, called Indie. He really enjoys his food but never seems to chew it so breakfast and dinner are gone in no time. I wanted something a little longer lasting but don't really like the idea of bones because of the way they split into sharp pieces, I always worry he will end up hurting himself. Whilst out shopping at the supermarket I came across the Pedigree Jumbone, it looked very big compared to other treats on the market and good value for money so I thought I'd give it a try. The fact that they're low in fat appealed to me because when I got him he was a little too well loved. Once I gave it to him, he chewed on ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Pedigree Jumbone: No bone Jumbones (416 words)
by - written on 13/06/08 (Very useful, 36 readings)

Pediegree Jumbones are made to look like they are bones filled with meat paste. However, this isn't the case. They are made of something a lot softer and are entirely edible. They are dog safe and as they are not real bone there is zero chance of the 'bone' splintering or shards breaking of that may damage your dog's digestive tract. The Jumbones are available in bites, small (3 in a pack), medium (2 in a pack) and maxi (1 in a pack). All are available in both beef and chicken flavours. I have samoyed and although they aren't the largest dogs I still think the maxi is most suitable as it's the closest to bone size. All packs are prices the same at around £1.50 ...  Read the complete review

Delicious for any dog! My dog always wants more

help with bad breath my dogs too gready

Nice size, calcium & vitamins, good for teeth Iffy ingredients (although thats true of any dog food!)

Keeps teeth clean, long lasting, not messy to feed. No bigger pack sizes available.. a pack of about 5 would be useful.
