Simba is now six months old. I had read in my research before getting him that cats should not have bad breath. After many years of dogs having stinky breath I didnt really know why cats shouldnt have it but even so I asked the vet if she had heard of this and thankfully she told me it was rubbish. A cat with bad breath is not a sign of poor health. Simba has had fairly bad breath since I got him and for the first five months it didnt bother me. However over the christmas period I noticed it was getting worse.
