Advantages: You never waste any and it's nutritionally fantastic

Disadvantages: Not cheap

It's expensive - you need to understand that from the start. It only comes in a few flavours, so you might think your cat would get bored. These are chicken, salmon, ocean fish and duck, with rice or oats. There are also special foods for feline conditions, such as good urinary tract health or as a hairball combatant.

But then you have to consider why you might have a cat in the first place. (Or a dog.) The chief reason must be to share in love with an animal. So if you go for that, then you should get them best food you can find that they will enjoy. All right, so if you're buying 15kg it's going to cost you around £50: if your cat likes the food, he or she will eat it all up. Cats rarely overeat, so 15 kg will last a long time. They don't get bored with the same flavour any more than humans get bored with bread or beer or a thousand other good foods.

Our cats love Purina and they enjoy excellent health. we will continue to buy it for them as much as they want.

If you are serving dry food for the first time, then introduce it gradually and always supply fresh water. You can get sample packs from Purina or from good pet stores like Pets At Home, and they will give you good advice there. What is more, Purina have a very informative website, that reassures you about all the nutritional goodies in the packet. I think you can put your trust in this food and give your cat a happy time!
