Advantages: vast range, chande layout, replicates natural environment

Disadvantages: hard to clean, breaks easily, hard to access

to be honest i wish i hadnt bought the stuff, yes it looks great, my hamsters probably love it but what a nightmare to keep clean. I have 2 hamsters both in different rotastak housing which had been vastly expanded, but getting to my hamster is virtually impossible. My hamster is still very timid and wont come anywhere near me, and i cant get to him!!!!!
I have changed the lay out a few times now and have noticed that the tubes no longer hold together well, in fact some dont hold together at all!!! If you have cats, we have 5!!!! beware, my poor dwarf hamster jay dissapeared after the cats kncked the caged and it fell apart, jay now lives in the walls, his friend bob was left terrified in a small tube rolling around the floor. Because its hard to clean it can also be smelly, i had to move them out of the living room into the spare room and buy them their own heater.
to conclude they love it, i hate it!
