I have two rabbits Holly and Archie who share a hutch together. I have a few food bowls for them, so that while one is being cleaned I can use another. One of them is the Designer Ceramic bowl by Rotastak.
This bowl is two tone being white on the inside and a pale green on the outside. The outside of the bowl is also decorated with four painted rabbits, the rabbits are munching on a carrot and I think they look a little bit demented.
The bowl measures five inches in diameter and is about two inches deep. I find that this is big enough to hold enough of their food and I could easily add more to it if I needed to and the bowl wouldn't be overfilled.
Originally when I first paired Holly with Archie I gave them two food bowls so that they had one each, but I found that they would sit together at one bowl eat all of that and then move on to the next bowl so I just decided that I would put all of their food into the one bowl. The pair of them can comfortably eat from this bowl although they do look a little cramped together they have never had any fallings out over the bowl.
The bowl is glazed which makes it incredibly easy to clean, a quick wipe over with a damp cloth removes any debris left from their food and a spray with a pet safe disinfectant ensures that any nasties are killed. I don't own a dishwasher so I can't comment on whether this bowl is dishwasher safe.
The bowl feels quite weighty so it can't be picked up by them and tossed around the hutch, but they do like to push it around until it is in a position that suits them.
I'm not sure exactly how long we have had this bowl but I would guess I probably bought it when I got Holly so it is around three years old. Some of the paint has chipped on the rim of the bowl, it looks suspiciously like teeth marks to me so this is probably where they have tried to move it around the hutch. The painted rabbits have started to become worn on the bowl as well, but I don't really like them so it doesn't bother me to be honest.
I can't remember where I bought this bowl from or how much I paid for it but it seems to sell for around £3 - £4 at various online pet stores.
